The new romantic comedy film began filming in mid-September 2016 in Taos, the US state of New Mexico and later in Los Angeles.

Vision Films and Jay Silverman Productions are proud to present this charming romantic comedy about finding love where you least expect it. Off The Menu, directed by Jay Silverman and shot in New Mexico, is a quirky film of the delightful celebration of the relationship between culture, food, and their wonderful power to bring people together.
 
Starring Dania Ramirez, Santino Fontana, Makenzie Moss, our beautiful María Conchita Alonso, Kristen Dalton, Andrew Carter and Jen Lilley. Off The Menu made its world premiere at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival on Thursday, February 1, with an additional performance on Saturday, February 3. It was also presented at the 2018 Santa Fe Film Festival on February 8, 2018.

Our sublime actress in the role of Cordelia, mother of Javiera (Dania Ramirez) who will live a romantic story in a culinary environment.

The story begins when the unlikely heir to a Mexican fast food franchise, Joel (Santino Fontana) reluctantly accepts a mission to find new ideas for his menu in New Mexico, finds himself in a dusty little town where foodies They travel from far and wide to savor all the culinary delights of a local, authentic and feisty chef, Javiera. Opposites attract in this sweet and romantic story about food, family, and love.
 
Says Director Jay Silverman: "When my team and I started developing Off The Menu, I was inspired by Michael Pollan's novel The Omnivore's Dilemma to show how huge a role food plays in our lives." "Joel's family owns one of the largest fast food chains in the United States, while our Chef Javiera has a farm-to-table approach. This cultural detail was central to our story and allowed our characters start a romantic trip. "
