Predator 2 (original title, Predator 2) is a 1990 American action and science fiction film. It is the continuation of the 1987 film Predator.
​
In 1987, Los Angeles is experiencing a heat wave and turf war between heavily armed Colombians and the Jamaican drug cartels.  A group of Los Angeles police officers will realize that this is the least of their problems when faced with a mysterious murderer who dismembers his victims with an unusual savagery. Soon, the head of the group, Captain Harrigan (Danny Glover)  and his police detectives Leona Cantrell (María Conchita Alonso) and Danny Archuleta (Rubén  Blades)  They will discover that their enemy is an alien (Kevin Peter Hall) who came to Earth for the sole purpose of hunting.
