CSI: Miami investigates the crime scene with investigators working for the Miami Police Department as they use physical evidence to solve gruesome murders
In this chapter, CSI investigates the brutal crime of a man suspected of having tortured Cuban refugees. The victim, Juan Marco Varon, had been living under a false identity in the United States.
The main suspect is an activist from a group that helps Cuban "rafters". However, a fingerprint shows that a recent Cuban refugee, who had been one of Varon's victims, may have been involved. María Conchita is Marisela Gonzales, a Cuban activist.
