Provocative and thoughtful drama about Uwe Boll's classroom violence, "Heart of America," is a stinging indictment of a violent society and the bullying pandemic. Mirroring the horrific Columbine High School shooting, the film reveals how a seemingly random series of events can lead to a tragic outcome.

Located at Riverton High School, in the heart of America, teachers and students enjoy their last day of the school year aware of the tragedy that is about to unfold. Two Riverton students, Danny Lynn (Kett Turton) and Barry Schultz (Michael Belyea), who have been the hardest hit by the bullying, demand their revenge against their torturers and anyone who might stand in their way.

Weaving a multi-layered story, where the lives of students, teachers, parents, and friends all intersect on one fateful and fatal day, a cast of talented young actors bring interesting observations for a story of pointless tragedy.

María Conchita Alonso plays Vanessa Jones, the school's career counselor.
