Caught

Director: Robert M. Young

Caught is an erotic genre film that tells the story of a young man who alters the simple life of a fish market owner and his wife. The film directed by Robert M. Young and starring Edward James Olmos, Arie Verveen, María Conchita Alonso and Bitty Schram.

Joe (Edwards James Olmos) and Betty (María Conchita Alonso), husband and wife run their own small fish market business in Jersey City. They have a son, Danny (Steven Schub), who has left them to become an actor. Work is the main thing in Joe's life and he tends to neglect Betty.

In his life comes Nick (Arie Verveen), a young man adrift through the city, whom Joe and Betty decide to help, offering him a job, as well as accommodation in Danny's old room. Nick becomes Joe's apprentice at work, showing an interest in the business that Danny never wanted. Nick also shows his interest in Betty, and it's mutual.

When Danny returns home, he finds that he has been practically replaced in the family by a surrogate brother, and he too rightly suspects that this intruder is having an affair with his mother.
